Hardship Fund

NY solidarity Coalition with Katrina/Rita Survivors Hardship Fund is an emergency relief fund established to meet the emergency needs of New York Area gulf Coast survivors who find themselves in need of immediate monies to cover an outstanding expense.

The types of request that are covered by this hardship/ emergency fund: housing expenses; utility bills; medical expenses; travel costs; telephone; storage; food; bereavement.

The Hardship Fund is designed to turn money around quickly. Approved Applicants can expect to know if they will be granted funds within a week of an application review. A check will be made ready within one to two days after forwarding the request to IFCO. Please provide all appropirate copies of receipts, bills or other documentation requested by the Fund.
